Its founder Dr. Rex Fortune is a life-long educator who has a keen interest in improving the performance of low achieving students. He has conducted research on effective schools that has been captured in two products advertised on this website. He has an ongoing interest in producing new products that will be useful to help teachers and parents as well as school administrators to become more effective in helping low achieving children.

Fortune is also available to consult with districts or collections of schools that are engaged in improving their effectiveness. As a former superintendent who used the promising practices cited in the book, Leadership on Purpose, in his schools, Fortune can provide advice and consultation for principals, directors and superintendents who seek his assistance.
Established in 1989, Project Pipeline is a comprehensive teacher recruitment and district intern credential program whose mission is to provide eligible individuals an affordable and convenient way to earn a California teaching credential while meeting California’s demand for new teachers.
Project Pipeline works with a consortium of Northern California school districts to develop their teacher hiring pool with high quality teacher candidates. Once hired, these candidates become teacher interns, teaching full time and receiving a salary plus benefits, as they take courses through Project Pipeline to earn their credential.
